So since I haven't blogged in a long time, I figured I would make this one real interesting.
Let's start off with baby 2. As most of you know we got a call on Saturday (a week ago) from my OB. He said he was concerned that our baby might have down syndrome. We cried. We got really scared. We were comforted by family. The next 5 days we decided that we would be so blessed to parents to a special baby. We met with the ultrasound specialist Friday morning. They told us that our baby looked fine, but we still need to rule out some more things like other birth defects and heart defects. We felt like we had more questions then answers, but we feel confident that the lord will bless us in whatever happens. We will keep getting tests for the next month or so and hopefully get more answers. For those who have prayed for us thank you, and thank you for your continued prayers for our sweet baby.
Lets finish with New Mexico. Friday (before the doctors call) we visited Jordan in the hospital. As we left the hospital T said he wanted to be a nurse. After joking around with the idea, T told us he was really serious about it. We prayed and prayed about what to do. The whole week we were left with out answers. Thursday night as we drove to New Mexico for our ultrasound we talked about what to do. We did pros and cons for Nursing and Instrumentation. Long story short, Friday on our way home from New Mexico we both had had feelings that Nursing was what we needed to do. So we plan to uproot our little family in the matter of weeks, and start a whole new life plan.
It has been a crazy week. We have been scared, shocked, confused, and most of all blessed. More then ever I know that my Savior is mindful of us. I know that he is in control of our life. I know that no matter what happens, we are making the right decision and the Lord will continue to bless us.
I hope you all have a Merry Christmas!

d-u-n. done.
Guess who just finished her first non dual enrollment college classes. Oh yeah this girl. Be proud folks I am. Although there was nothing to challenging about my classes, I am proud. Also I did something that hasn't happened in 3 years. Actually finished a class, it feels great!
Also I miss my baby. He is in AZ being cute there. I just wish I could squeeze him. One more day...
I still haven't completely decided about my hair. That might be why I have a headache, or finals, or cause I haven't had a DP today.
I have been thinking about Dr. Pepper. It may be the fact that I am pregnant. With Rush I probably averaged 44 oz of the that wonderful drink a day. I just want it more then I want water. (oops) It's a good thing Circle K isn't smart enough to put one in Kirtland. I could probably keep it in business alone.
I hope those who are taking finals have a successful week, and those who are starting their Holiday Season, give me a whoop whoop cause I am joining ya!

Prayers Please.
I like to share whats happening in my personal life. Mostly because I like it when people tell me how their life is going. Anyway there is a really really really ( I can't stress really enough) awesome job opening (we have even heard that there are multiple openings) at a power plant here in New Mexico. It's beyond the perfect job. We would basically be getting paid to go to school (who doesn't want that?!) Anyway it's super competitive and TONS of people (we are guessing) have put in their job applications. Well my awesome husband sent in he resume too. The deadline was today, so I am sure in the next couple days maybe weeks we will know if we get an interview. We would really appreciate it if you would join us in prayer so that we could get the job. There will probably be a lot more 'qualified' people, but we are praying hard, and like everything else in our lives we are trusting in the Lord.
Have a happy day, and thanks in advance for keeping us in your prayers!
Love,
The Tenneys

Here's a story
One that I think you will find exciting. I have already said this, but I am really bad at keeping secrets. Anyway, a few weeks ago I thought Aunt Flow should have come, she didn't nor will she for 9 months.
Lets rewind. October 6 2012 we were with T's family talking about babies and what not. I was telling them " I won't have 2 babies in diapers! I want to wait for awhile till I can get a little bit of school done. Plus I have an IUD so it won't be a problem waiting" Heavenly Father thought that was funny I would say that cause I was already pregnant. Anyway I got home from my long trip to AZ and kept expecting that time of the month. It didn't happen and little signs of being pregnant kept arising. I was in major denial so I didn't want to take a test. Well after T was super annoyed with me talking about it, and being super emotional he said - That's it we are finding out! I knew what it would say and I sat in the bathroom crying as the answer was confirmed. Not just crying, but bawling. How could this happen. We are so poor. We jut had Rush 9 months ago. I finally felt like my body was getting back to normal. I am supposed to have pretty heavy loads in school until I got accepted (hopefully) in April! I finally had a plan!!! T was wonderful and calmed me so much. He said "This is a blessing, and we don't want to be ungrateful there are people who want babies and can't have them, and next time we want to have a baby we want to be able to!" He is an angel. That whole day I was not excited. I tried, but I couldn't muster up the courage to be. I am now. I am so grateful that we are having another sweet baby.
I just found out, I think I will be due June 26. I have felt pretty good, maybe a little bit more tired, and a little bit more nauseous then last time.
Yes lovelies that means we are expecting a little bundle of joy.

Be-bap-de-do
I have been brightening up the black and brown living room we used to live in. Promise you will like it. You also might think that it was something you wished you had in your bedroom when you were 15. but seriously it's cute.
Also I wake up with a headache everyday. Can someone please help me?
Online classes so far have been yuck. I ended up having to start 2 of my classes 3 days late, and another on like 5 days late. So I have been playing catch up, with out a book. In one. shoot me. But I think I got it all figured out. I feel like we are still running around like crazy still. T's schedule is crazy, and we have to drive to Farmington like every day. Oh well we are happy doing what we are doing. I am glad I get to tell people I am a student.
The hubs and I miss grass, and rain, and pretty things that AZ had to offer. We live in the ugliest part of Kirtland though. Just behind us down on the Old high way it is much prettier. We have driving to the church and walking around the neighborhoods their. It is much prettier. There are old houses, ivy, and running water. Rush loves it too! T and I will walk buy houses and comment on what we like about it (He has become much more observant about old houses and such since he married me :)) and we dream up our perfect yard! The other night we were walking and we were just happy, and it felt like home.
Rush has been falling asleep in the funniest positions. He fell asleep in his bouncer, and while we were on our walk sitting straight up. I love that little boy! He is learning to do so much, and it is so fun watching him!
Thats all for now. It's almost labor day and we will be headed to Snowflake, I can't wait to see my momma.

back to normal.
After a super long vacation and a week of cleaning. we are back to normal... almost. We are still trying to figure out how to work out this whole school thing. I had to drop my face to face classes, and I now have 3 online classes. both good and bad. But it's going to be hard to time manage. Lots of reading, lots of homework, and lots of spoiled baby. we will figure it out though.
Anyway first week of school has been a success. Jord loves it so far! I don't like Tuesdays and Thursdays too much 'cause Jord leaves at 12 and doesn't get back till 9 :( gosh.
Here is cute rush. :)

You call it a double wide, I call it home.
Wednesday August 15 I was so excited to get back to New Mexico. As Thursday morning rolled around and we loaded up all our junk and left for the Land of Enchantment. I cried all the way to Holbrook. We made plans of what would need to accomplish between the time we arrived home and Monday when I left for class. Right in the middle of a juicy part of our book we have been reading, we got a flat tire. Right on the freeway in between no where and Gallup. It was hot, and cars were speeding by us. My paranoia kicked in and was just sure someone was going to slam into us while we were sitting ducks changing a tire. Anyway my super awesome (by then super sweaty) husband had changed the tire and we were on the road an hour later. We got to Gallup, stopped to get something to eat. We had 3 Indians ask us for money in a 45 minute period. By the third one I about said, "No, do you have 20 bucks for diapers." I was hot and cranky give me a break. Five and a half hours later we made it to Kirtland. As we were pulling in I got the worst feeling. I don't know why, but I felt like throwing up! Anyway we found our house better then we had the time before. (thermostat had broke and our house was about 95 degrees) We had a thick layer of dust, and a little mouse had chewed up part of out couch.. I could go on in great detail but I will give a shorter version. We felt that little things kept going wrong. We were frustrated from a long day and tired. We went to bed late, and woke up early to drive back to Gallup to exchange cars with my Dad. We get there and he tells us something is wrong with our car. Pep boys computer was down, and no were else seemed to think anything was wrong. Luckily Denise and Sydney Manning were there (they broke down the night before) and we followed them home. We get back continue unpacking and we had a feeling that something unwanted was in our home. After a prayer and a blessing on our home we felt the spirit, and our uneasy feelings from the previous days were gone. Sunday rolled around Jord gave a wonderful gospel doctrine lesson. Jord got offered a carpet cleaning job which was a complete answer to prayer and load of Jordan's shoulders of how we would survive this semester.
As we have talked about our last few days, Jord and I have recalled all the events over and over. We questioned why we felt like everything was going wrong at first. To be honest we were a bit bitter. Then so many things started to fall into place, and we felt much better. Jord's philosophy on it all was that Satan was trying to discourage us because something great is going to come from us being here. I think he is right.
Saturday I was mad, and today I feel completely undeserving of the blessings we have received. I am grateful for a priesthood holder in our home. I am grateful for the gospel. I am grateful for family. I am grateful for my Savior.
We live in New Mexico. We live in a double wide. We have each other. We are blessed.

Kirtland New Mexico
It's not wonderful, but the people who live here are.
1. Blake and April to start it off have been nothing but wonderful. Fed us, chauffeurs, and our friends!
2. Hank and Jayne. They are so sweet. She has the best grandma voice, and he knows the most about any topic. We can talk about anything with those two classy people.
3.Kirtland 1st ward. The bishop, and all the ward members have been wonderful! We had a visit with bishop and he gave us good advice, and told us he was there for us!
4. The Mannings, (and Tiandra and George) tonight she rocked my baby, fed us, and Jack had the secret touch to making Rush quit crying. They also called one of their daughters to show me how to message Rush to relieve his tummy aches. It was the first night I didn't wish my mom was here.

The Mannings had there almost 2 year old grandson there. It was weird to think that's how old Rush will be when we are finished here. By that time he will be calling Hank, Jayne, Jack, and Michelle his Grandparents, and we will have lots of wonderful friends!
Good day, Good day

Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow
Guess who has been meaning to blog, but just hasn’t. This girl. Because I want to share my story for the last week and a half you have to listen mmmK?
Friday January 20th my parents forced me to get into my car packed to the top and drive to New Mexico with them. I cried saying bye to my mother in law, to my little sisters, when we crossed the bridge leaving town, and one more time I had to fight back tears as we entered New Mexico. We got to Blake and Aprils and I got to see my husband. We showed my parents the dirty towns, and I tried really hard not to cry. I think I had to fight back tears from about 4 till we went to bed. (Seriously get over it right?) Saturday we couldn’t get into our house till like 3, so I didn’t get to trick my mom into helping unpack more things before she left. The boys ran to Walmart, and my mom and I stayed at my house. We cried. She said “I don’t want to leave you here.” And I said “I don’t want you leave me here.” I watched them drive away and guess what… I cried. Oh and to make it that much worse, Rush was super fussy from the drive. So he cried… a lot.
The next week I unpacked, hung a few pictures hung out with April and Blake and their sweet girls. Oh and I cried at least twice. I still have a bunch of crap to go through… And that makes me want to cry. We skyped my family twice (this twice isn’t included in the above mentioned twice), and both times I cried. (are you seeing a pattern here? Crying?)
Anyway Sunday on the way to Church I said to Jord, I think I am starting to like it here. After Church I said, “I love it here!” Our ward is awesome. A bunch of the Sherwoods are in our ward so that’s nice, and everyone said I am _______. Welcome to the ward!” And usually it was followed with do you know ______ from Snowflake?” I swear it, everyone knows someone who is from Snowflake.
It all hasn’t been negative. You want to know something awesome? Jord and I talk a lot more now. I fix breakfast and dinner pretty much every day now. I spend every second of the day with just Rush. We had our first Sunday dinner by ourselves since we have been married. (by the way it was pretty good. But that’s just me.)
Our land lords (this is their house from ours)
are the sweetest people in this word. Rush will call them Grandma Jayne and Grandpa Hank, and I think her and I will make trips to town together. I live in a home that is perfect for us. We aren’t sure if we will be able to afford internet (and that’s just fine) so we steal it from one of our neighbors. We have to lay on the floor in Rush’s room to use it though.
(These are the neighbors) We probably won’t be able to afford TV (that’s just fine too) I will probably find some crafts to do!
Our land lords (this is their house from ours)
Aunt Kim always said to me, “as soon as you move over there, there is light at the end of the tunnel. Two years that’s it! I know I can handle it, and I am pretty excited about it too!
Gotta have pictures :) ( I will take pictures of our house once i get everything just like I want it)

New hair :)
OH he is the cutest! :)
