Guess who just finished her first non dual enrollment college classes. Oh yeah this girl. Be proud folks I am. Although there was nothing to challenging about my classes, I am proud. Also I did something that hasn't happened in 3 years. Actually finished  a class, it feels great!

Also I miss my baby. He is in AZ being cute there. I just wish I could squeeze him. One more day...

I still haven't completely decided about my hair. That might be why I have a headache, or finals, or cause I haven't had a DP today.

I have been thinking about Dr. Pepper. It may be the fact that I am pregnant. With Rush I probably averaged 44 oz of the that wonderful drink a day. I just want it more then I want water. (oops) It's a good thing Circle K isn't smart enough to put one in Kirtland. I could probably keep it in business alone.

I hope those who are taking finals have a successful week, and those who are starting their Holiday Season, give me a whoop whoop cause I am joining ya!

I think it is some 54 days till Christmas? Can you believe it. I can't, I am super excited for the Holidays. Thanksgiving is going to be wonderful. I can't tell you all the desire I have to stuff my little pie whole with potatoes and homemade noodle gravy. I am drooling thinking about it. Also I get to spend a week home again.

Let me just rant for a bit. By the time we go home for Thanksgiving, it will have been a little over a month since we have seen our families. We are both ready to go visit. Some might think that we are a little ridiculous that we are always going home... but the thing is, we are just living here, it's not home. Lately I have had a really hard time with being here. I am totally not a friend person. I have a hard time going out and making friends. So the effort I have put into making friends has not been reciprocated. I just feel like this isn't home. It's not of course, but I am having a hard time trying to make it our temporary home. Gosh, excuse the bad attitude.

All the more reason to be excited for the holidays so we can spend a lot of time with family.

By the way, sorry all my posts are picture-less but I am having difficulties with the computer. I will get them on soon! :)

Hi there.

We, I mean I, well I guess actually we, bought our first Christmas tree. I say I cause this is like the most important thing to me. Like I am not kidding. I am totally fine with picking up Christmas ornaments for a month and a half (thanksgiving to new years :) thanks mom) because I love Christmas, and you can't have Christmas with out a tree. Right. Yes of course. Anyway It's like a little runt of a tree, but I am proud and I wish I could put it up now. Giddy as a Who ;)


I have big plans for this week. Well mostly just to be superwoman. Ha. kidding. But anyway. I plan on keeping up on my housework, working, and really doing awesome at school. it's a big deal. We are down to 7 weeks left in the semester! I hope my psychology class turns out ok. It's really unbearable. It's like I have to solve a mystery to solve every test/quiz problem. yuck.

Happy week. Jord and I will be celebrating our anniversary tomorrow. We are getting a babysitter (or our landlord) but still first one since we have been here... it's a big deal!

This is my attempt at blogging. It's going to be just above fail because this time I will post what I actually type.

I think we have been busy, I feel like we have been.

Rush is the cutest little dude. He smiles giggles laughs eats and melts my heart all the time. His one little shinny tooth is my favorite. He loves playing with his toys and I love watching him learn and figure things out.

We go back to New Mexico Wednesday. I start classes Monday the 20th. I am going back to school (fight back nausea). I am scared, and excited. Don't worry I bought a back pack I should be fine. Me Dora and backpack.

T is amazing. I love that I have my best friend all the time. It's my favorite about being married. I have read like 2 hours worth of my chick book to him and he loves it. For some reason I love reading to him. (weird)

Anyway I want to do better. I won't promise. But this won't be the last you hear of me.

I just can't get over him

So two reasons why I am posting again about Valentines.

Reason 1: I did a goofy post for Jord before and now I have to show you how cute he is.

Reason 2: From the time I got home from work to the time we went to be was probably the best 7-8 hours I've had in a long time.

Okay yesterdays run down went like this. I woke up to go to work left him his little treat that I got him with a note telling him how madly in love I am with him. Fast forward. I get home and our floor and bed are covered in hearts! (he cut them out so nicely) And he bought me some flowers and m&m's and DARK dove chocolate. It was perfect.

I also have to tell you about the note he left for me. If you were at our luncheon you will think this is extra funny:) it goes like this:

Then he had to go to class.. BOO but it was part of the plan cause I planned a romantical homemade dinner for the both of us!


He had some twice baked potatoes, chicken fried STEAK, and broccoli, and salad, and the drink was frozen punch :) YUM. It was most of jord's favs.

We both fibbed to each other to make the surprise even better. We both are cheesy and hopeless romantics.

I seriously fall more in love with him every day. He is perfect for me.

This is the post that you have all been.....

Dreading.. My slightly dry and boring post of the past.... MONTH!! (probably) But at least I do have some of those delightfully entertaining things we call pictures.

Basically December consisted of PARTIES! It was rather fun and we made several trips to good ol' Snowflake. That road seems to be getting longer :( :( :( We enjoyed Christmas Eve with Jord's family! It was really nice cause they do a lot of the same stuff that we would have done. We had to sing a song about a family that was drawn for us, we got the Halls! Our song was very funny ... (to Jord and I haha) Christmas night we decided we would just air up a mattress and sleep and Deb's sad thing is their tree lights up the ENTIRE house and the air mattress "sucked" if you know what I mean. To make things worse Jord and I were very excited to wake up and see what Santa brought so we woke up before anyone else! As we sat their on the couch waiting for everyone to get there we wished each other a merry Christmas and you know how everyone says that first Christmas is magical? Well it is. I love that boy with all my heart. Anyway I got him and iPod he was excited but had an idea that's what i got him. He got me a sewing machine and I was very happy :) I had an idea but a wonderful gift it was!! When we got to go to Snowflake I was very happy!! :) I had definitely missed my family and I'm glad that we were able to spend time with them.

They are backwards of entry but you get the idea. I mean it's a hotel room... It's pretty basic :)

This is actually a really good picture because you can see how our bathroom sink is also the kitchen sink! Also I have a new love for those plastic drawers!

We had a beautiful holiday season.New Years party was pretty fun! It was just my parents and us. Food, little rascals and the ball dropping was a great recipe for a fun night! And mom and I were pretty much the only ones who lasted :)

New years resolutions- I don't know how I feel about them I always want to accomplish them and what not maybe my resolution should be to work harder at keeping my resolutions!!

Yes I know writing letters to things that can't read is weird. But it got my point across. The last weekend (memorial day) we went to the valley to watch Treston graduate (congratulations), and bask in the sun.

Here is the run down. Friday we were in the pool more then we weren't. or close anyway.

Aunt Ann woke us up bright an early to give us a work out from you know where. I was sore days after. You go girl :) then we blah blah blah and went swimming..

This is my sweet dive. I didn't belly flop once. Last summer. Well lets just say it was not

pleasant experience trying to learn how to do this.

This is my adorable sister. She hates me... No matter how much we play she still loves Derek more. But we played so much! Every one played for hours in the Hamberlin, and Bloomfields pool! Basketball, water fights, diving, and sun bathing made for a perfect day. It was a good time

After we did baptisms we snuck over to Lenny's to get a delicious ice cream cone... YUMMY

but before i go on... I have a story. So as a valley girl I kinda liked this guy. We weren't ever dating in his eyes but pretty much were. Anyway, a few months ago this guy got engaged! May 28 (the day we did baptisms he got married) I figured that if we went late enough in the day we would miss seeing him. Ha on the contrary. It just so happens they are taking pictures. They didn't see us till the photographer had to run over and ask us to move. So the whole wedding party looks. Yeah it was awkward. What are the odds. Of all the times of the day it just so happens that we are there at the same time...
We also added a lot of estrogen to our house this weekend. Jenna and Megan are staying with us this week. I just love these little girls. :) So sweet! Between them, the neighbors and other friends that come to play with them there are a lot of girls running around the house!

This was a highlight. I laid cement and grilled. I think I've got skills. We worked our buns off int he backyard this weekend. We dug weeds, poured cement, moved tarps and mowed lawns. you know, i think that this might be the best part of summer.

So two years ago this weekend we did a kick dance that was sooo cute... really!and we had a blast!! This year I am doing a baker dance that is totally silly... and I'm pretty nervous about it! I will post more pictures of it later!

On a side note i have noticed a few things about snowflake that I realized i love!!!

1. The people at NPC are a lot nicer then the peopel at CGCC
2. I know everyone in the grocery store
3. The post office is used to get mail and send it. Weird I know but man if you want stamps you are better off going to a grocery store in the valley.
4. My boss is my next door neighbor.
5. Everyone knows when you are gone, or come back.
6. Singles ward covers like 10 towns
7. Grandma Kathy brings me lunch.
8. Main street
9. Cell phone numbers start with 243 and home phones start with 536
10. Its cold
11. If you want to go to sonic, or any other restraunt you don't have to ask which one.
12. and the best one.... This is where my family is

I still love the valley, but there is something about a small town that you can't replace. The song called Small town USA says it pretty good...

A lot of people called it prison when I was growin up
