If I get the chance

Sometimes I just think. Actually, lots of times I do.

I think about happy things and sad things, things I want to do, things I wish I hadn't. I think about my family and my baby. I think about all I want to become, and things that hold me back, or push me forward. Lately I have been thinking about marriage.

Before the T Junk my longest relationship was 3 months to the day. Kiss 'em and diss 'em right? I liked it like that. I fell in love quick and fell out of love quicker. Anyway this brings me to my thoughts. Not that I am falling out of love by any means, but my thoughts are about falling more and more in love each day. I like how the whole marriage thing works. You pick up each others slack, you work together as a team, you get jokes that no one else will, and you are completely honest and open with each other. It's funny how someone I didn't know 2 years ago is mine forever. It's funny how I can hardly stand do go a day without being with my man.

Some days we fight, some days we don't get a long but all the time we love each other!

This isn't a new thought, it's just a remember.

I just can't get over him

So two reasons why I am posting again about Valentines.

Reason 1: I did a goofy post for Jord before and now I have to show you how cute he is.

Reason 2: From the time I got home from work to the time we went to be was probably the best 7-8 hours I've had in a long time.

Okay yesterdays run down went like this. I woke up to go to work left him his little treat that I got him with a note telling him how madly in love I am with him. Fast forward. I get home and our floor and bed are covered in hearts! (he cut them out so nicely) And he bought me some flowers and m&m's and DARK dove chocolate. It was perfect.

I also have to tell you about the note he left for me. If you were at our luncheon you will think this is extra funny:) it goes like this:
Our love is like a flock of doves
with a dark cloud above them.
The air smells like sweet flowers boughten at safeway
you mean the world to me.
I want to spend my eternity
snuggling More & More with you
if i could describe the perfect girl
i would have to use the letters
T.I.F.F.A.N.Y (that spells your name)

i thank the lord for blessing me with such a great wife, whose dad's hair is gray.
(I didn't say that ok?)
I'm so glad we have the gospel to share,
because forever families is such a great blessing to bare.

Then he had to go to class.. BOO but it was part of the plan cause I planned a romantical homemade dinner for the both of us!


He had some twice baked potatoes, chicken fried STEAK, and broccoli, and salad, and the drink was frozen punch :) YUM. It was most of jord's favs.

We both fibbed to each other to make the surprise even better. We both are cheesy and hopeless romantics.

I seriously fall more in love with him every day. He is perfect for me.

It all started....

Ok lets go back to the night before. My mom was ironing my temple clothes, and we started talking about the events that would take place the next day. I was anxious and nervous and excited. I had never asked her to be my escort I just always assumed she would. I asked her if she would, and she answered yes. The next day I woke up so happy. As we drove to the temple my nerves were calmed and I realized how great a blessing I would be receiving. When I saw the cute white haired lady just passed the recommend desk I knew she would be the one to help me through it all, and my eyes began to fill with tears. Sister Shelton is the the sweetest lady I know, she was in my ward, and if I could have picked who helped me, I would have picked her.

One of my favorite parts about the temple was seeing junk for the first time upstairs. It just made it all seem even more right. Well with out too much detail the session was beautiful. And while it may seem odd... after I thought about the clothing and special blessing it all seemed like something I have been doing my whole life.

The celestial room was my favorite. Tears of Joy were present in almost everyone. I had been preparing to enter the house of the Lord and receive my endowments for a long time and standing in the most sacred room with family close by just made it even more rewarding and showed me really how important the temple is.



And sad to say I haven't been back. Maybe I'll go early in the morning.
