Those lovely lyrics are brought to you by T-Swift. Speaking of T-Swift my handsome son fell asleep to her today. I am happy he shares a love of country music... even if it is cheesy.
I have so much to blog about. I think it should be two posts, but I will make it one. From Monday to Saturday last week I could count how many hours I had been out side of my house. If I rounded to the nearest half hour it was 2. The Tenney's, including Mr. Rush have been sick. bleh. But I enjoyed a weekend curled up on the couch with my boys.
This weekend one of the most monumental events took place. I tried explaining it to my husband, but he just didn't get it. The event I speak of is bread making. He didn't understand why I had to check to see if it had risen ever 5 minutes. He didn't get why I had to take pictures of it. I was so nervous I was going to pull my bread out of the oven and it would be as 'heavy' as a cinder block. But have no fear my little loaves of bread turned out perfect. Ok perfect as in they weren't burnt, they weren't doughy, they weren't 'heavy'. I learned a little bit about letting it raise and next time they will be 100% perfect. (hopefully it wasn't beginners luck.) I think they were good enough I could have given them away to someone! {yipee}
I have said it before I think I am funny. I am saying it again. I am funny. (and humble) But my husband is also funny. (and handsome) but there is rarely a night we don't lay in bed with out laughing our selves to sleep. The other night We had been teasing and he said good night my amazing wife. To that I replied I don't speak Portuguese. He laughed and repeated what he said. I laughed because I had translated my amazing wife to be mayo de why (or something like that) I got Jord laughing so hard I figured it was blog worthy. I only count making him laugh if it is rolling on the floor laughing out loud laughing.
Tonight we had FHE and we wrote some goals we want to accomplish. Mine included exercising, growing spiritually, making crafts, and finding friends. Jords were a lot similar minus the crafts and he added attend the temple (thats why i love him) I also felt a lot of happy. I love it here, I love my boys, and I just am loving life.
Now Rush is in his bed sleeping, Jord is doing one of my Jillian workouts (we don't want to spend money on P90X) and I am wishing I could watch an episode of the Office. It never gets old.
We will be in snowflake in 3 sleeps. I can't wait.
