Dear Miss Wenner,
Although you were 'only' my 2nd grade teacher, you still touched my life greatly. I think about being in 2nd grade and all of the attention you gave me. I remember a little note you left on my desk. It said something about Tiff Wiff on it. I felt so special because you wrote me a sweet sentimental note about being your helper. Even in the 2nd grade you pushed me to be something great. When you came to visit several summers ago, I had told you I was planning on becoming a cosmetologist. When I saw the look on your face followed by your encouraging words you told me - you can do better then that. Even though I'm slow on 'being better then that' I am trying. Thank your pushing me to be a great person. Thank you for loving me. Thank you for showing me attention. Thank you for caring. You may have touched many lives, but mine you touched most.

Makes me miss teaching so much! Truly a wonderful profession! Miss Wenner was a great teacher. And a great person. I think you should send this to her. She would appreciate knowing that!
