What qualifies as low income?
How do we not qualify for insurance or food stamps from the government?
I asked the lady so what 'qualifies you to be on insurance?' she said low income. I wanted to say $200 dollar pay checks don't seem to be that high of income to me.
I also wanted to say... Notice how we both are going to school, and working? It's not like we will be on it forever unlike most of the people you are putting on insurance! Whatever. I'm just mad. I don't know if i make more then what we would get food stamps and insurance...
Cody and Camille (nephew and niece) are going to school full time. not working. insurance. food stamps. and financial aid. I think that's a way better idea. Way to go!!
Then they say you might qualify when you have a baby... I'm thinking if we were really paying rent (not just saying we are) I have no idea how we would make it with all that.. Oh well that's the fun in growing up!
Guess no more snowboarding for Jordan.
Oh also.. I had a horrible dream last night about my mom and a funeral. Crying waking up from a dream isn't fun...

Ugh!!!! That totally....sucks! Ahcccs is soooo silly! I know how you feel. We didn't qualify for it until we had $12,000 worth of medical debt and they still only paid a tiny bit. It's hard....let's just live like the rest of the world. Let's not pay taxes, let's live in nice houses that we're not making payments on, let's not have jobs, let's go to school, let's use our food stamps at restaurants (that's legal you know), let's learn how to lie to the government, let's just live the easy life....AND GET EVERYTHING PAID FOR!!!!! Yeah I have a bad attitude about it too....some of us actually NEED the insurance and food stamps....some people use it because they can and be lazy. I wish they had a comment box....keep it up though Tiff.....we applied several times and it just depends on who looks at your application. They're lame like that. There's no technical 'rules' per say. Just cross your fingers that the next person you get will help you out.

Don't worry. We don't qualify for foodstamps right now either, never have. Cody's not on health, and I got kicked off too... So I think you have to be addicted to meth and expecting your 5th child. But my scholarship is what were hooked up on, then financial aid comes in handy. But we feel ya!
